MANOTECA was established in 2010 by Elisa Cavani. Their aim is to transform forgotten items into objects that are able to tell stories, treating them like true works of art, with a strong aesthetic sense and giving full value to the original idea.

I really like the idea that in every object is held somebody's life. I hope that who is going to possess an object will think about that and take good care of it.” says Elisa.

Manoteca is a little house in a park, a lab where old and abandoned things are hosted, reinvented and reassembled. They are all one-of-a-kind, handmade and treated with natural paints.
