Japanese blade company KAI Group is about to launch what is said to be the world’s first “Paper Razor”. A disposable razor made from water-resistant paper. According to an article on Yankodesign.com the origami-inspired design gives the razor as much strength and maneuverability as a plastic razor, while minimizing the use of plastic by as much as 98%. The overall razor is said to weigh just 4 grams and comes in a flat-pack that’s no more than 5mm thick.
