Russian designer Xenia Alexandrova and 3D artist Dmitryi Saveliev presented an eco packaging design concept for Chatu, presumably a premium tea brand from China. The tea bole shaped packaging is made of moulded pulp and its patterns on the surface mimic the swirly patterns found in tea plantations of Sichuan, Henan, and Fujian provinces. The packaging comes in three different colors, matching each of the three types of tea (white, green and red). Tea leaves itselves are packed in two-layer cotton bags.

“The packaging is designed to be breathable and as environmentally friendly as possible” and won the Pentawards Silver.
