When was the last time you saw a baby carrier which was not made entirely out of plastic? Baba Tree is set to provide high quality, fairly traded moses baskets, produced in Bolgatanga, Ghana. The baskets are traditionally hand-woven from veta vera grass, grown in southern Ghana. Each basket is unique and, once sold, the weaver will receive an additional commission to the compensation that he has received already. Their basket collections are not only amazingly beautiful, they also create jobs for people in one of the world’s poorest countries.
